I shoot head shots. Lot's of head shots. Many of my clients use the images for multiple purposes and need the image on different backgrounds. For many years I would photograph my subject on multiple fabric backdrops to give them options. The problem with this is that the client will typically have one particular photo they like and it was painstaking to paint multiple backgrounds into that one image. The solution I found is to shoot my clients head shots on a green screen. This has allowed the client to change the background for whatever color or texture theme they may need. Many corporations require an exact match of their trademarked backgrounds. Others have different backdrops for different teams. This green screen technique allows changes to be made with the push of a few key strokes, saving my clients time and money.
